Decks usually take two days. On the first day we do all the sanding and apply the first coat. Then return on day two to buff it back and apply the final coat of Oil.
Two coats are the bare minimum. For longevity, the more coats the better.
You can walk on your deck 24 hours after completed.
The oil is glossy when wet, but dry's to a beautiful satin finish.
